A clear, warm day.
Today, as part of Aakel's environmental protection activities, all employees gathered at Noko Ferry Terminal to board the ferry to Noko Island, an island right in front of Fukuoka City, for tree planting.
Even engineers, usually glued to their PCs, set out with boots in hand!
After landing at Noko Island, we rode a bus prepared by Mr. Hori from JA Fukuoka for 15 minutes along mountain roads. Suddenly, a vast expanse of cultivated land appeared amidst the woods.

First, we were shown the proper planting technique, including depth and direction. All employees were surprised by the intricacies of tree planting. Then, we proceeded with planting, covered in sweat and mud. The feel and smell of the soil made us feel like children again.
The employees' children who participated were, of course, overjoyed.
After planting a total of 68 trees, everyone looked satisfied at the small amanatsu saplings that should begin bearing fruit in 10 years.
Aakel's Tree Planting Activity
More greenery for the future of the Earth. We will continue contributing to environmental improvement by planting seedlings, starting with today's amanatsu planting on Noko Island.
