Second Official Announcement of of EV Charging/Discharging System in collaboration with AAKEL eFleet
The “EV Power Station®“ is operated via remote-controlled automatic charging/discharging using “Mathematical Optimization with Genetic Algorithms.”
Aakel Technologies Inc. (HQ: Fukuoka, Japan; CEO: Ryoji Miyawaki; hereinafter referred to as "Aakel") is a climate tech company based in Fukuoka, that aims to address climate change issues and achieve a decarbonized society through digital innovation while simultaneously pursuing a harmonious relationship between business goals.
We are pleased to announce the collaboration between our company and Nichicon Corporation (HQ: Kyoto, Japan; CEO: Ippei Takeda; hereinafter referred to as "Nichicon") on the V2H system "EV Power Station®" and "AAKEL eFleet.”
Through this collaboration, the functions of AAKEL eFleet will become available for use with "EV Power Station®." Nichicon, a leading company that developed the world's first V2H system¹ and introduced it to the market in 2012, has been working together with Aakel in various projects, including METI and ANRE's "Charging Shift for Electric Vehicles through Dynamic Pricing" demonstration project. Together, they have integrated "EV Power Station®" and Aakel's systems to provide individual and corporate customers with EV charge/discharge management.
We will continue to expand the utilization of "EV Power Station®.”
Note 1: V2H system refers to a mechanism that extracts electricity from high-capacity batteries of EV/PHV vehicles and allows it to be used as household power through the distribution panel.

It is a service that centrally manages and automates all optimal charging and complex operation management (including gasoline-powered vehicles) of EVs using our proprietary technology¹. This is the first system in Japan that optimizes EV charging and operation management by combining "smart charging" with systems such as "dynamic pricing," "fleet management," and "EMS" for companies and local governments that are introducing EVs toward decarbonization.1: EV Charging Management System by mathematical optimization using genetic algorithm
Calculation of vehicle dispatch schedules, considering charging time and amount of multiple EVs using mathematical optimization
When multiple EVs are connected to multiple chargers, it automatically controls which EV is charged/discharged with its amount of current
Refers to the energy menu of each customer’s contract, prioritizing charging and efficiently using renewable energy during cheap times
Multiple EV Management
Register the next day's operation schedule for each vehicle
Manage different device information and installation locations for each charger
Check charging status, charging schedule, and location for each vehicle
Check usage history such as charging fee, charge amount, charging time, etc.
One-click switch between automatic and manual charging in case of emergency

EV Consulting
Aakel’s smart EV charging service “AAKEL eFleet” provides a vendor-free solution compatible with imported EVs (both passenger and commercial vehicles) and charging stations from manufacturers like ABB.
Through API integration and onboard device connectivity, it enables centralized vehicle management regardless of brand or model.
Moreover, by supporting OCPP, ECHONET Lite, and manufacturer-specific protocols, it offers integrated charger management that can operate seamlessly even in sites where different manufacturers and mixed-use chargers (standard, fast, V2X) coexist.
