First official announcement of EV chargers linked to AAKEL eFleet
"Mathematical optimization using genetic algorithms" to operate the Pit-2G with remotely controlled automatic charging
Aakel Technologies, Inc. (HQ: Fukuoka, Japan, Representative Director: Ryoji Miyawaki, hereinafter referred to as "Aakel") is a climate tech company from Fukuoka that develops business with the aim of solving climate change problems and balancing businesses with the corporate objective of "realizing a decarbonized society through digital innovation."
NITTO KOGYO Co., Ltd. (HQ: Nagakute, Japan, President: Toru Kurono, hereinafter referred to as "Nitto Kogyo") is pleased to announce the collaboration between the Mode3 ordinary charger "Pit-2G Series" and "AAKEL eFleet".
With this integration, the functions of "AAKEL eFleet" can be used with "Pit-2G".
The Pit-2G is equipped with a charging connector cable that can be used as a charging stand regardless of the vehicle model. EV users do not need to carry their own charging cable, which was necessary for charging at an EV outlet, or take out and connect it each time it is charged. It is widely used for professional use that requires high durability and reliability, especially for fleet (business vehicle) charging.
In addition, in February 2023, we obtained the necessary JARI certification to be eligible for government subsidies, and we plan to become eligible for the charging infrastructure introduction subsidy project in FY2023*. ※ At the time of this release, we are in the process of applying for equipment approval, and it is expected to be certified as a subsidized facility by mid-April 2023.

It is a service that centrally manages and automates all smart charging and complex operation management (including gasoline-powered vehicles) of EVs using our proprietary technology¹. This is the first system in Japan that optimizes EV charging and operation management by combining "smart charging" with systems such as "dynamic pricing," "fleet management," and "EMS" for companies and local governments that are introducing EVs toward decarbonization.
※1:EV Charging Management System by mathematical optimization using genetic algorithm
Calculation of vehicle dispatch schedules that consider the charging time and amount of multiple EVs using "mathematical optimization"
When multiple EVs are connected to multiple EV chargers, it automatically controls which EV is charged and discharged with how much current
Refers to the power menu of different contracts for each customer, prioritizes charging and efficient use of renewable energy during cheap times

EV Consulting
Aakel’s smart EV charging service “AAKEL eFleet” provides a vendor-free solution compatible with imported EVs (both passenger and commercial vehicles) and charging stations from manufacturers like ABB.
Through API integration and onboard device connectivity, it enables centralized vehicle management regardless of brand or model.
Moreover, by supporting OCPP, ECHONET Lite, and manufacturer-specific protocols, it offers integrated charger management that can operate seamlessly even in sites where different manufacturers and mixed-use chargers (standard, fast, V2X) coexist.
