President & CEO:Yotaro Nitta – comment

In addition to the stable supply of energy, the Nihonkaigas Kizuna HD Group is taking on the challenge of new initiatives such as low-carbonization, decarbonization, DX, and proposals for richer lifestyles.

In this demonstration, we will work with Aakel Technologies to confront the challenge of EV operation and charging management. With a view to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, we aim to build solutions that utilize EVs and consider the optimal system while operating our group's company-owned vehicles.

As a comprehensive energy group, the Nihonkaigas Kizuna HD Group will contribute to the creation of comfortable and prosperous lifestyles, and the creation of an earth-friendly environment.

Aakel Technologies, Inc.
President & CEO:Ryoji Miyawaki – comment

To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the shift to EVs is an issue that companies must tackle. However, the ones that have taken the lead in introducing EVs are facing several challenges, especially when it comes to charging, which has been limited and has prevented such introduction.

To solve such problems, it is necessary to acquire information such as the amount of charge and position of the vehicle in real time, managing it appropriately. To achieve this, we have developed a solution for EV charging and EV vehicle management.

We look forward to working with Nihonkaigas Kizuna HD Group to demonstrate these mechanisms and contribute to the popularization of EVs in Toyama.

Aakel’s smart EV charging service “AAKEL eFleet” provides a vendor-free solution compatible with imported EVs (both passenger and commercial vehicles) and charging stations from manufacturers like ABB.

Through API integration and onboard device connectivity, it enables centralized vehicle management regardless of brand or model.

Moreover, by supporting OCPP, ECHONET Lite, and manufacturer-specific protocols, it offers integrated charger management that can operate seamlessly even in sites where different manufacturers and mixed-use chargers (standard, fast, V2X) coexist.
